About CareCircle

This app is dedicated to my dad, who became ill, and my two sisters, who helped me take care of him.

Why CareCircle

You need to take care of a family member—by blood or by choice.

For my sisters and me, the questions kept going:

• How do we take care of them? How do we coordinate their care?
• Are the bills paid for this month?
• Have we spoken to an attorney about a family trust?
• How did the appointment go—and how do we tell everyone without saying it five times?
• If there’s an emergency—what medications are they on? What are they allergic to?

Those are the questions my sisters and I kept running into.

Each of us held pieces of the picture — yet none of us had all the information. If one of us couldn’t be reached, the others would have been in trouble.

We’re all on iPhones, but the information still lived in too many places: texts, notes, apps, spreadsheets. Looking at spreadsheets on a phone was awful — hard to find what mattered when you needed it. Constantly jumping between apps was annoying. I looked for a care app that kept everything in one place, and one that we could actually use. Nothing fit.

I decided that I needed to create the experience I wanted.

CareCircle keeps that care information in one private circle—so what used to live with whoever remembered now lives in the circle.

I created this for my family — so we could keep what mattered in one place. I hope it helps yours the same way.
