CareCircle Collab (“we,” “our,” or “the app”) helps families and caregivers coordinate health-related information. This policy describes what we collect, how we use it, and your choices. A shorter summary also appears in the app.

Data we collect

We collect the information you and your care circle choose to store in the app, such as:

• Profile information (name, contact details you provide)
• Care records you enter (tasks, medications, notes, providers, medical history, and related attachments such as photos or voice memos)
• Collaboration data (circle membership, roles, invitations)
• Purchase information for in-app subscriptions (processed by Apple; we receive subscription status, not your full card number)

Health and care information is sensitive. You control who can join your circle through invitations.

How data is stored and synced

Your care data is stored on your device and synced through Apple iCloud (CloudKit) for circles you create or join. We do not operate a separate central server that stores your family's medical records outside iCloud.

Analytics and crash diagnostics

We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (Google) to understand how the app is used and to diagnose crashes. These tools may collect device and app identifiers, product-interaction events (for example, feature use), and crash logs. Event parameters may include limited labels you enter (such as a medication name or medical-history title) so we can improve reliability—not for advertising. We do not sell your personal information or use this data for third-party advertising.

Data sharing

Your care data is shared with collaborators you explicitly invite to a care circle, and with Apple (iCloud/CloudKit, App Store purchases) and Google (Analytics/Crashlytics) as described above. We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your care data with third parties for advertising.

Security

We use industry-standard protections appropriate for a consumer health-coordination app, including encryption in transit and at rest as provided by Apple's platforms and iCloud. You are responsible for securing your device and Apple ID.

Your rights

You can access, edit, and delete care records within the app. For account or data questions, contact us at support@carecirclecollab.com.

Children

The app is intended for use by adults coordinating care. Family member profiles may include information about dependents; the account holder is responsible for appropriate use.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
